wywiady - wywiad z rickiem Anna Olsen przeprowadziła z Rickiem wywiad pocztą elektroniczną. Pozostawiłem go w wersji oryginalnej. Zapraszam też do obejrzenia strony Anny, poświęconej oczywiście Scooterowi. I'm sure you understand that fans are curious about this new album and stuff. Can you tell us anything about the forthcoming single or the album ? Will it follow the style from BTTHWJ? - As we've just started to write the first song , I honestly cannot say anything about how the new album will sound like. We usually don't have a real concept when we start working on new material , but I think this time there will be a larger variety of styles (from chilly to hard) than on BTTHWJ. There are many requests about you releasing all the singles again. Why not? - In december '97 we released "rough and tough and dangerous" which was a kind of "best of" album with all singles from "HyperHyper" 'til "No Fate". I think , as soon as there's enough material , we'll do something like this again. Talking about releases: can we expect a livealbum of Scooter some day? - It's our definate plan to release one , maybe after the next European tour... Since FHS , you have changed the logo. Will you keep it , or is it just temporary? - You'll never know... In NTTC, H.P. mentioned 'Ratty'. Nearly a year after , we hear 'Ratty' again. Now who is Ratty? - That's our secret... What do you use to generate H.P.'s voice in the song "We Are The Greatest" ? Is it available to buy? - At "We Are The Gratest" we used a so called vocoder , where you can modulate a synthesizer's signal with the sound of human voice. I think the German group "Kraftwerk" were one of the first musicians , who used this sound. What about the tour, what countries will you visit and when? Will you visit North America? Don't forget you have a lot of fans there too... - In autumn we'll do an European tour , but North America isn't planned, yet. We fans are a special kind , always caring for our favouriteband ! We all got worried when it was told that H.P. had broken his leg. Is it true? - This is a real funny story , but as I know H.P. didn't ever break one or both of his legs , epecially not now. I think this rumour came up , because H.P. and me spent New Year's Eve in a skiing resort in Austria. But although H.P. was skiing a lot , no serious accident happened. Which song of Scooter (only one!) is your personal favourite? - At the moment it is "Fuck The Millennium". This song , especially the video is 110% SCOOTER. When you order a taxi , do you use your 'Rick Jordan' name to make 'em hurry up, or do you use your real name? - I always use my real surname , but "Rick" is even used by my parents. You guys live very close to eachother sometimes, don't you ever have an argue or are you never fed up with eachother? - Of course we argue sometimes , but fortunately not very serious... What do you think you're gonna do after the time with Scooter? - I don't think too much about this , but as music is my life I will never stop producing. Maybe you can answer this one , maybe not , but what in the name of everything does H.P. say in 'Don't Waste No Time' at the 'Age of Love'album? - Going to the club until the morning and the light is coming up another day I see the sun and feel alright... Your absolute favourite color? - Dark blue. What's your biggest fear? - My computer is crashing before I saved the song. If you got only one wish, what would you wish for ? (Because we assume you'd like to have worldpeace like everybody else , you have to say something else!) - Having saved the song before the crash... OK , Rick , before I say thanx , I have one last question: what would you like to say to all fans you guys have out there? - Party on , no drugs , max fun ! ;-) Thank you very much for this interview!
